Crispin (Mutsu)

Bred from Golden Delicious by crossing with Indo. Renamed Crispin in the United Kingdom and New York. A very large, firm, greenish yellow apple with a sweet, cocktail of flavors, including a hint of anise. Juicy and refreshing. Absolutely outstanding dessert quality. Firm, dense texture which is consistent for cooking. Good for eating, baking, sauce, and juice.
