Every spring we are busy planting. It is not unusual for us to plant anywhere from 1,000-3,000 trees each spring. Why??? We’ll our trees only have a 25-30 year life span. This means we are constantly replacing our older original trees that are 30+ years old. We also are always adding new varieties that appeal to our guests or that make even better cider 😉. Planting is a process. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of one of our beloved employees, Holly. Holly was a long time employee of 4 years that served as a welcoming smile to all our guests in the Apple Barn. Our Royal Oak family will miss her dearly and are extremely saddened by her loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with her husband, Mark, and the rest of her family and friends. If you knew and loved Holly, her visitation will be on Monday, December 20th at Toynton Funeral Home in Walworth, WI from 4pm-8pm and her Funeral will be held there as well at 11AM on Tuesday, December 21st.
