EverCrisp

Evercrisp is a new apple variety developed and released by the MAIA (Midwest Apple Improvement Association) of which Royal Oak Farm Orchard is a member.  After more than a decade of careful cross-breeding, Evercrisp is a cross of Honeycrisp and Fuji, with a sweet flavor.  It resembles Fuji in appearance, but shares some of Honeycrisp's texture characteristics.  The name Evercrisp comes from the apple's greatest trait - it's superb storability.  It is great for eating out of hand or baking.
