ENTERTAINMENT AREA ACTIVITIES

PLAYGROUND & 
PETTING ZOO

Enjoy the beautiful grounds of our playground, filled with unique climbing structures to expand the imaginations of any child.  Next, say hello to our farm animals that could include: calves, lambs, goats, various chickens, ducks, roosters and our beautiful Royal Oak Guinea Hens.  Hand wash stations are available for washing your hands as you leave.  The Petting Zoo and Playground are free.  Quarter Feed Machines are available to feed the animals.

ROYAL OAK EXPRESS TRAIN AND BARREL TRAIN

Young and old alike can take a ride on the "Royal Oak Express"- a 19th century replica train inspired by authentic railroad tradition. This is not just a "kiddie" train ride - parents can ride right along if they like and take pictures of your child on the train.  Cost of the "Royal Oak Express" train ride is a $4.00  Entertainment Token.

Or...


Head over to Amaze 'N Apples to climb into our multicolored barrel train.  Our Barrel Train will take you on a fun adventure around Amaze 'N Apples and through parts of our North and South Orchards.  Cost for the "Royal Oak Barrel Train" is a $4.00 Entertainment Token

Our trains will operate on Weekends only in September and October.

ROYAL OAK
CAROUSEL

Hop on the "Royal Oak Carousel" and round up one of the 14 horses or take a seat in the chariot as you listen to old fashioned calliope music. Our 18' High-Lite Carousel will take you and your children back to the days of the country fair as you enjoy your ride and the view of the surrounding countryside.  Cost of the "Royal Oak Carousel" ride is a $4.00 Entertainment Token.


Our Carousel will be open on Weekends only in September and October.

EXPERIENCE  ROYAL OAK FARM

AMAZE 'N APPLES

Have an Amaze 'N Adventure in the country's only apple tree maze.  Apple trees planted in an espalier (hedge-like) system form this extremely unique maze.  Filled with 1.5 miles of walking trails, 9 varieties of apples to pick, 3 activity areas, a central climbing tower, and games to play, this maze is one you shouldn't miss!  Admission into the maze is $8 or 2 tokens per person (children under 2 are free).  Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

ORCHARD TOURS & ADULT GROUP TOURS

Want to learn more about our family farm and orchard? Hop on one of our famous Orchard Tours.  This extensive tour will take you on an informative experience where you will learn more about the history of the farm, how we plant and care for the orchard, about our honey bees and so much more.  Tours cost $4 per person (Children 2 and under are free) and run regularly on Weekends in September and October. 


Adult Group Tours

Adult Group Tours are available by reservation only for groups of 25 or more on Wednesday through Friday from 12 PM-3 PM.  Tours run $15 per person and include our 30 minute orchard tour and a stop to pick 1/4 peck of apples per person.

Looking for some delicacies to take home? Your family is sure to find something for everyone in our Gift Shop, Apple Barn, or Harvest Barn.  Filled with gourmet jarred items, mixes, coffees, teas, candies, fresh picked apples, cider and more our shopping areas will have your mouth watering.  

Need a perfect gift?  You won't want to miss the beautiful selections of Fall decor, clothing, candles, and home items in our Gift Shop.  

Be sure to stop in the Apple Barn for a refreshing cider sluhsee or local and gourmet snack items.

Grab a cup of hot cider and relax by our stone fireplace in the Harvest Barn.  Take in all the beautiful outdoor decor, signs, fall mums, pumpkins and more to make your home look festive this Fall season.

BAKERY & 
COUNTRY KITCHEN

Just like grandma used to make...our bakery is filled with delicious homemade treats.  From our fresh fudge and hand dipped caramel apples to our homemade pies and world famous apple cider donuts, your family won't want to miss an experience visiting our bakery.

 

COUNTRY KITCHEN
 After your apple picking adventure, be sure to stop in the country kitchen for a good home-cooked meal.  Known for our chicken pot pies and hand breaded chicken tenders, this down home country cookin' can't be matched.

SCHOOL TOURS & BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Request a School Tour

Looking to bring your school group out for a Fall tradition?  Our school tours run Wednesdays through Fridays in September and October for groups of 25 or more guests. 


School Tours include :

 

  •  an educational talk
  • access into Amaze 'N Apples, the country's only apple tree maze
  •  5 apples to pick in Amaze 'N Apples
  • an apple cider donut 
  •  Wagon Ride to our playground & petting zoo

 


Tours run $10 per person. 

 


Birthday Parties


What better location for a Birthday Party than the Farm?  Birthday Party Packages are available on weekends in September and October.  Packages start at $20 per child with a minimum of 10 children. 


Basic Package Includes :

 

  • Reserved Tables in our Pavilion for 2 Hours
  • 2 Tokens per child for use on Train, Carousel, Orchard Tour, or Maze
  • Hot Dog Meal served with chips and water or juice box

BONFIRE & HAYRIDE PACKAGES

Available on Saturday evenings from 6 PM-10 PM in September and October, our bonfire and hayride packages are a favorite among our guests.  Packages available for a $300 minimum (in form of deposit).  Packages start at $10 per person (Children 2 and under are free). 


Package Includes :

 

  • Private bonfire pit with log benches which will be stacked and lit for you
  • Wagon Ride around the orchard with a stop to pick 2 apples per person
  • Access to playground and petting zoo until 10 PM

 

Add-on items available including Apple Picking or Amaze 'N Apples


Request a Hayride/Bonfire Reservation
